Christmasy

Happy Christmas Time, friends! The Spirit is certainly in the air, in each of you as you shop, in our wild woman volunteer team, in the hopes and dreams of the youth and women who shop for free in our TenThirtyFive Grey/Bruce Upscale Thrift Boutique and in our Hepworth community.

Our Purpose

So many wonderful people have come to visit us in the past two months with good questions about our mission. So, I thought I would share our answers. TenThirtyFive Grey/Bruce exists for one reason only: to create a space for vulnerable youth of all genders and women to shop for free. We provide this service in our Upscale Thrift Boutique to recipients referred to us by our community partners. We also provide this service through our Mobile Boutique. We load-up our trailer with clothing, footwear, accessories, racking, shelving and pop-up at our community partner's locations, allowing their clients to shop for free in their own community.

How Shopping in our Upscale Boutique Helps

Offering public shopping in our TenThirtyFive Grey/Bruce Upscale Boutique pays the bills, keeps the doors open, creates a space for our recipients to shop for free and gives everyone a chance to get great clothing at inexpensive prices.. The income we create at our boutique helps to pay for new underwear, socks and beauty items, which our recipients get for free. It pays for the gas to move our Mobile Boutique all over Grey/Bruce. Funds from the shop, along with donations, will eventually allow us create salaried positions, so we can hire local youth and women, pay them a living-wage and fulfill our desire to have a long-term, sustainable charity that operates year-round in Hepworth, Ontario.
