TenThirtyFive Grey/Bruce continues to bring community together through storytelling, support, and meaningful action. From amplifying lived experiences to meeting urgent needs and welcoming a new season, here’s what’s happening and how you can be part of the impact.

Community Storytelling & Advocacy
This Friday March 27th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., TenThirtyFive Grey/Bruce will host Joan Chandler, CEO and Artistic Director of Sheatre, who will be offering a safe, supportive space for women to share their lived experiences.
This initiative is part of “Remembering Gladys Ryan,” an arts-based educational project focused on raising awareness of intimate partner violence (IPV) in later life. Inspired by the tragic events of the Gladys Ryan inquest, the project invites community members to reflect on their experiences and contribute stories that will help shape an interactive performance. The goal is to educate audiences on recognizing warning signs, understanding the impact of IPV, and learning how to respond.
Participants can share their stories confidentially—either in writing or through conversation with trained story collectors—with the aim of creating meaningful change and reducing partner violence in older adult communities.

Urgent Call for Donations
TenThirtyFive Grey/Bruce, in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters Grey Bruce, is preparing for a free clothing pop-up on April 8th at Keystone Child Youth and Family Services—but we need your help to make it a success.
Right now, there is a critical need for running shoes and athletic wear. These items are essential to ensure that every young person attending the pop-up has access to comfortable, practical clothing they can use every day.
Donations can be dropped off during regular boutique hours at our location in Hepworth. Your contributions will directly support local youth, helping us meet the growing demand and serve those who need it most.
If you’ve been considering donating, now is the time—your support will make an immediate and meaningful difference.
Volunteer With Purpose
As TenThirtyFive Grey/Bruce approaches its busiest season, we are actively looking for passionate volunteers to join our growing community. Whether you’re interested in lending a hand at our free clothing pop-ups or supporting day-to-day operations at our upscale boutique thrift store, there are meaningful ways to get involved.
Volunteering with TenThirtyFive is more than just giving your time—it’s about making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable women and youth across the Grey and Bruce region. Every shift, every interaction, and every contribution helps restore confidence, dignity, and a sense of worth to those who need it most.
If you’re looking for a rewarding and engaging way to give back, we’d love to hear from you. Reach out to Ellie at Ellie@tenthirtyfivegb.com to learn more about how your time and energy can create real, lasting impact in your community.

Support That Sustains Our Mission
As we move out of a long and challenging winter, we’re reminded just how many individuals and families in our community continue to face difficult circumstances. It’s been a demanding season for many—including us at TenThirtyFive Grey/Bruce—as we work to meet growing needs with limited resources.
Monetary donations play a vital role in helping us continue this work. They allow us to respond where the need is greatest—whether that’s supporting our free clothing Pop-Ups, maintaining our boutique space for our participants to shop for free, or expanding programs that uplift vulnerable women and youth throughout Grey and Bruce.
If you’re part of a business or organization exploring meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility opportunities, we would be honoured to be considered as a community partner. Aligning with TenThirtyFive means directly contributing to restoring confidence, dignity, and a sense of worth in the lives of those we serve.
Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference—and all donations over $25 are eligible for a tax receipt. To discuss partnering with us or offering ongoing support, please reach out to Ellie at Ellie@TenThirtyFivegb.com.
For a one-time monetary donation, we accept e-transfers to Ellie@TenThirtyFivegb.com, or you can drop by our boutique in person to make a donation. Your generosity helps ensure we can continue showing up for our community when it matters most.
