Our permits have begun to arrive. We hope our final inspection will be complete by July 15th. Very soon after we have our final building permit, we can set up our fixtures, decorate, stock, train and finally open.
While we prepare for our shop, we are planning pop-ups across Grey and Bruce counties throughout July and August, spreading hope to youth and young adults in our communties.
Purses with Purpose
Last month our newest wild woman volunteer, Vickie van Dyke, hosted a Purses with Purpose Donation Event for us. She and her amazing friends, along with Northern Bruce Peninsula donors, who connected with our Board Director, Barbara Dirckx in Lion's Head, gathered 50 purses for TenThirtyFive Grey/Bruce.
Back To School - Giving Soles
Preparing for Back To School Free Clothing Pop-Ups has brought to our attention the need for gently worn shoes. The biggest need is athletic shoes, casual shoes and boots. Friends from our community as well as two of our Board Directors are planning to help us gather the footwear to serve our youth.
TenThirtyFive Grey/Bruce Board Director, Susan Follett, is the owner of It's A Shore Thing in Sauble Beach. She will be accepting donated footwear at her shop during the months of July and August, at 311 Main Street, Sauble Beach - next door to Dairy Queen. Please feel free to drop off to her shop Monday thru Sunday between 10am and 4pm.
TenThirtyFive Grey/Bruce Board Director, Margit Berne, is the owner of Sunpoint in Owen Sound. She will be accepting gently worn footwear donations at her shop in July and August at 918 2nd Ave E, Owen Sound - next door to barebirch. Please feel free to drop your donations off at Sunpoint Monday through Saturday between 10am and 4pm.
