Our Grand Opening is September 28th
We are so pleased to finally be able to say we are coming close to the finish line, which will also be our starting line. Our TenThirtyFive Grey/Bruce Upscale Thrift Apparel Boutique is really taking shape. We’ll be ready to open our doors to customers for the very first time on Saturday September 28th, 2024. We’ll be open at 10am, cut our big red ribbon at 1pm and stay open for visitors and shoppers until 5pm.
We begin regular business hours Tuesday October 1st. Our hours of business will be Tuesday to Friday 10am to 5:30pm and Saturdays 10-5. We are closed Sundays and Mondays. On Mondays we do our free clothing pop-ups across Grey and Bruce Counties.
Gratitude
Our community has supported us immensely. If you have donated, thank you so much! You are a big part of helping to restore confidence, dignity and worth in vulnerable youth and women across Bruce and Grey counties. If you plan to donate gently used apparel, we will begin to accept donations during business hours at our boutique: Tuesday-Saturday 10am to 5pm.
We are now a Registered Canadian Charity
On September 1st we received word from the Revenue Canada Charities Directorate that our charitable application was approved. If you plan to donate funds to help us provide our service and purchase new underwear, socks and beauty items for our participants, we are now able to provide a Tax Receipt.
The TenThirtyFive Grey/Bruce Upscale Thrift Apparel Boutique
Our volunteers have poured their heart and soul into helping us bring this dream to reality. We could never have imagined the love and care we have received from our board of directors, volunteers, their family members, our friends and our sisters at TenThirtyFive Nashville. We are so excited the founder, Angie Brantley, will be here with us for our Grand Opening Day.
We are filled to the brim with incredibly beautiful donations. We are so grateful for each piece of clothing, pair of shoes, purse, accessory and beauty product. We hope you will enjoy shopping in our boutique. Each time you make a purchase you are helping us reach more and more people for free.
Our participants are thankful to receive their wardrobe pieces free of charge.
At our free clothing pop-ups, we hear things like: “Wow! I feel so good wearing this.”
I can’t believe these are brand new. I’ve never worn new clothes before.”
“Can you believe I’m wearing a dress? I’ve never worn a dress.”
“Thank you for the new underwear. I haven’t had any to wear this year.”
We hope you can make it to our Grand Opening next Saturday. The following Sunday October 6th we are hosting an awareness event at Pinewoods Golf Club featuring the music of the amazingly talented Callie McCullough. This event is open to anyone who likes Roots Country Music and wants to know more about TenThirtyFive Grey/Bruce. Admission is by donation. Pay what you can and come join us.
